Hi, I am Kay the face behind Kay June Photography. I am based in Plymouth but will travel within Devon and Cornwall to event or wedding photography work. My passions are wedding, studio, outdoor location shoots and dog photography, as I mainly specialise in portrait photography of people and animals.
I am very family oriented, and my two little boys keep me busy when I am not out capturing images. I also have two Labradors and a rescue Cat called "Cat"! My children and fur kids are used to me chasing them around to get that perfect image.
After leaving the Army in 2013, I wanted to turn something I love doing into a career. I completed my level 3 City & Guilds photography course which was located at a working photography studio in Bournmouth. There I gained work experience in wedding, studio and out on location shoots. I also did a digital manipulation course which covers how to use Photoshop and Lightroom.
Because the industry is unregulated, some wedding photographers are hobbyists who attend a few weddings every year as a sideline. With me, you will receive a professional service with contracts, images of high resolution and I am insured. After 10 years I am finally in the position to set up a fulltime photography business, dedicated to providing you with the best service and images to treasure for years to come.
